We are seeking an experienced Pre‑Litigation Attorney to manage a high‑volume personal injury caseload from intake through settlement. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, understand personal injury case valuation, effectively analyze liability and damages, and confidently communicate with clients, adjusters, and medical providers. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys maximizing settlements, mentoring support staff, and helping clients navigate the claims process while achieving outstanding results. Responsibilities Manage a docket of pre‑litigation personal injury cases from sign‑up through settlement Evaluate liability, causation, damages, and insurance coverage issues Review medical records, bills, and supporting evidence to determine case value Draft and review demand packages and settlement correspondence Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense representatives Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients throughout their claims Supervise and collaborate with case managers, legal assistants, and intake staff Conduct legal research and analyze complex liability and coverage issues Identify cases requiring litigation and coordinate smooth transfer to litigation counsel Maintain regular client communication and ensure an exceptional client experience Review settlement disbursements and lien resolution strategies Assist with firm growth initiatives and team development Qualifications Minimum 2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience Minimum 2 years of personal injury settlement negotiation experience Spanish‑speaking Strong understanding of Texas insurance claims and personal injury law Ability to evaluate medical treatment, medical records, and damages Excellent negotiation, communication, and client‑relations skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a substantial caseload Ability to effectively supervise case managers and legal support staff Experience using Microsoft Office, case‑management software, and legal technology platforms Preferred Experience handling trucking and commercial vehicle claims Experience with UM/UIM, policy limit demands, and bad faith issues Experience managing high‑value injury cases Understanding of liens, subrogation, and settlement disbursement procedures What Success Looks Like Consistently maximize case value through effective negotiation Deliver exceptional client communication and satisfaction Maintain an organized and efficient case pipeline Lead support staff effectively Help grow the firm’s reputation through outstanding results and client service Benefits Competitive base salary Aggressive performance bonus structure Paid CLE and professional development Paid time off and holidays Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding firm Supportive team environment with experienced case managers and legal staff #J-18808-Ljbffr
