Job Title:Pre-Sales-DCFMExperience:11 years to 15 yearsLocation:Noida,Bangalore,chennai,HyderabadThe Role This role is responsible for shaping and positioning comprehensive data center operations and support solutions during the presales phase. It translates customer requirements for 24×7 facility management, onsite support, and remote/smart hands into scalable, SLA-driven service models. The focus is on defining how day-to-day operations, incident response, break-fix, rack and stack, inventory management, and lifecycle activities will be delivered across one or multiple data center sites.The role evaluates current-state environments and designs optimized operating models covering staffing, shift patterns, skill mix, ticket handling, escalation paths, and governance. It ensures that proposed solutions are operationally robust, cost-efficient, and aligned with uptime and compliance expectations. Close collaboration with delivery teams, partners, and field service providers is essential to ensure the solution is practical and executable.In addition, the role owns the creation of RFP/RFI responses, commercials, and customer-facing presentations, clearly articulating value in terms of improved MTTR, availability, and predictable operating costs. It plays a key part in transitioning won deals into delivery by defining clear scopes, SLAs, and operating frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Define end-to-end Data Center Facility Management and Smart/Remote Hands scope covering 24×7 operations, incident/break-fix, rack & stack, inventory management, and lifecycle maintenance.Design operating and staffing models including shift patterns, skill pyramids, onsite vs remote mix, dispatch logic, and escalation frameworks aligned to SLAs and response targets.Build detailed RFP/RFI responses including SOW, SLAs/OLAs, ticket volume assumptions, governance structures, and transition and steady-state delivery models.Create techno-commercial cost models covering manpower, tools, spares, logistics, and partner services for single-site and multi-site DC environments.Define monitoring, ticketing, and centralized command-center constructs for proactive operations and faster incident resolution.Collaborate with delivery, transition, and automation teams to ensure proposed solutions are executable, standardized, and automation ready.Engage OEMs, field service partners, and facility vendors to validate scope, coverage, and commercials for integrated delivery.Present solution architecture, SLAs, and value propositions to customers highlighting uptime improvement, MTTR reduction, and cost predictability.Support deal closure and handover to delivery by creating detailed service playbooks, SOP outlines, and transition plans.Define standardized presales operating models (L0/L1/L2 mix, on-site vs remote ratios, escalation paths, and coverage models).Qualifications & Experience Knowledge of DC operations, Smart Hands dispatch models, rack/stack, cabling basics, and break fix processes.Strong presales writing, costing, commercials, and customer-facing communication.8-10 yrs of experience in data center industry OEM Operations Certifications (Schneider, Vertiv, ABB )Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP)
