CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Care Representative to work at our Pottstown, PA location. This position also requires traveling to our Lansdale, PA office.Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.ResponsibilitiesThe Precertification Specialist will be held accountable for obtaining prior authorization/precertification of all testing procedures performed in the office.Obtain prior authorizations/precertifications for all office testing and procedures including: EchocardiogramsNuclear stress testsStress echocardiogramsHome sleep studiesVascular testingEnsure prior authorization/precertifications are obtained in a timely fashion for all scheduled testing (1 week prior)Ensure all add-on and same day testing procedures have proper authorization prior to being performedOther duties as assignedRequirementsMust have experience in a medical office setting, preferably in CardiologyMust have the ability to multitaskComputer knowledge is a mustExperience with an EMR system is a plusMust be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoingBenefits: Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holidays.*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus.
