Job Summary As a Precision CNC Machine Operator, you will set up, operate and maintain at least one process machine (3 and 5 axis, rotary, assorted grinders, surface grinders, EDM machines, etc.). Maintain all quality and production records and assist with training as required. Salary Minimum starting salary $23.00 (higher salary based on skills). 2nd shift differential $2.00, 3rd shift differential $3.00. External hires eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. 401K benefits. Responsibilities Perform precision machine set‑up and wheel changes within standard set‑up times. Maintain all quality and production records, including tooling calibration and daily walk‑around. Maintain productivity, utilization, schedule and quality records and comply with all standards. Assist with training of Machine Trainees. Perform productive maintenance duties. Maintain 6S and housekeeping standards. Participate and promote continuous improvement activities. Achieve and maintain certified status. Qualifications High school diploma / GED. 2 years related machining experience (manufacturing, industrial, labor related experience) preferred. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions). Ability to interpret and follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices. Ability to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set‑ups, operations and processes.
