Alphabetland Preschool LLC is a locally owned business with locations in Waipahu, Pearl City, and Aiea Hawaii. We are currently looking to hire a Full time preschool teacher at our Pearl City location. Candidate must be qualified to teach in Hawaii. Our preschools are open year round Monday through Friday 6am-5:30pm. Teachers are assigned full time hours within those times. Applicants must be honest, dependable, able to communicate in English verbally and in writing, and love working with young children. Ages 2-5.

Preschool Teacher:
We are seeking a qualified preschool teacher who will educate and care for our young minds. Using creative teaching methods such as storytelling, artistic expression, and educational play, you will provide young learners with foundational skills to prepare them for kindergarten or their next stage of education. Along with teaching fundamentals like numbers, shapes, colors, and letters, preschool teachers are responsible for ensuring the safety of all students and providing parents with behavioral feedback. To be a successful preschool teacher, you must love working with children.

Objectives of this role
- Develop a creative learning program suitable for children ages 25
- Promote a positive, fun, and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of children
- Prepare children ages 25 for the next stage of their education
Responsibilities
- Instill order in the classroom.
- Communicate with parents about their childs behavior
- Monitor free-time activities
- Encourage children to interact with one another
- Organize nap and snack time
- Prepare for lessons by gathering necessary materials
- Change pull ups/serve prepared meals/clean up
Skills and qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with young children
- Passion for shaping and inspiring young learners
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic nature
- Certification in child CPR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
