The Pricing Analyst – Air & Ocean is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining competitive pricing strategies for international air and ocean freight services. This role supports sales, operations, and leadership by providing accurate, timely, and strategic pricing solutions to win profitable business while ensuring alignment with market conditions and company objectives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver accurate air and ocean freight quotes for import/export shipments using CEVA’s internal quote platform Respond to daily rate requests from BD teams and network offices with speed and accuracy. Focus on spot market pricing rather than complex tender or long-term RFQ management. Ensure all pricing reflects current carrier rates, surcharges, and market trends. Evaluate cost components (fuel, handling, surcharges, accessorial fees) to ensure profitability. Conduct margin analysis and recommend pricing adjustments as needed. Monitor market trends, carrier pricing, capacity, and competitor activity to inform spot quote competitiveness. Maintain relationships with trucking companies, airlines, and ocean carriers to support competitive spot pricing. Negotiate rates with vendors to secure competitive pricing. Collaborate daily with sales, operations, account management, and other departments to ensure pricing alignment across the organization Act as a central communication bridge between BD, branch offices, and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing discrepancies and clarify customer requirements. Communicate pricing decisions and market information to relevant departments to support informed decision-making. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred). 2–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation pricing. Strong knowledge of air freight and ocean freight operations and pricing structures. Knowledge of incoterms and international shipping regulations. Familiarity with key trade lanes (Transpacific, Transatlantic, Asia–US, etc.). Import/export documentation and compliance basics. Experience with RFQ/RFP management is a plus. Knowledge of digital freight platforms (Cargowise) and rate management tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Familiarity with freight systems (e.g., CargoWise) is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
