About the Opportunity:
FedTec is seeking an experienced Bid Pricing Analyst to support our business development team. This role is critical in developing accurate, competitive pricing and cost estimates for proposals related to federal government contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the government contracting landscape, helping our firm deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions to government clients.
This fast-paced, deadline-driven position requires a high-energy professional who is comfortable working extended hours as needed. A commitment to teamwork and collaboration is key to success in this role, as you'll be part of a dedicated team that supports each other in achieving the firm's strategic goals.
This position will report directly to the Director of Pricing.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the pricing proposal process, from RFP analysis and market research to cost/price volume development and final submission.
- Analyze federal government RFPs to determine cost/price volume requirements, ensuring compliance with government regulations and proposal instructions.
- Design pricing models and strategies, conduct financial and cost analyses, and evaluate competitor pricing for proposals of varying size, value, and complexity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and partners to collect and verify cost data, ensuring all elements are accurately captured in the pricing solution.
- Develop cost-estimating models that include comparative analysis, competitive insights, and profit optimization.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive and fair pricing, using open-source data to build profiles of potential partners and competitors.
- Create, manage, and respond to subcontractor and partner data requests.
- Present pricing strategies to leadership, and prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy of cost volumes and maintain compliant, auditable pricing files and proposal documentation.
- Identify pricing risks and collaborate with teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain awareness of federal regulations, FAR, and other contracting requirements to ensure compliance.
- Monitor awarded contracts for pricing consistency and address any discrepancies or financial risks.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a pricing role within a government consulting firm or federal contracting environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Multiple Award Schedules (MAS), and government contract negotiation.
- Experience writing and organizing pricing narratives.
- Expert-level in financial modeling, cost-estimating tools, databases, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in developing pricing strategies using data analysis, research, and industry trends, including scenario development for price-to-win
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with collaborative skills to support cross-functional teams.
