Pricing Analyst Apply
Our client is looking for a Mid-Level Pricing Analyst to join the corporate Contracts and Pricing team in Vienna, VA with a hybrid work schedule (in the office Tuesday through Thursday; remote Monday and Friday).
This position is responsible for contract administration on Government and commercial contracts, including cost-reimbursable, time and materials, and fixed-price contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret Government and Prime Contractor RFPs for cost/price volume requirements and contribute to a final product that complies with all solicitation instructions
- Perform fact-finding and data gathering with cross-functional proposal teams to ensure that all attributable cost elements associated with a solution are accounted for in the pricing solution
- Build pricing solutions using technical Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and incorporate appropriate cost information in accordance with the organization's financial constraints and other best estimating practices
- Present comprehensive reports of cost/price analyses to leadership and other intra-organizational stakeholders for their review and approval
- Develop cost/price volumes outlining the organizational process for estimating cost and the corresponding methodology/rationale for the proposed cost elements
- Review cost/price volumes to ensure they adhere to RFP requirements, and government regulations, including TINA and certified cost or pricing data, including compliance with internal company policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards.
- Manage priorities in an efficient manner while tasked with several proposal activities at a time to meet their deadlines.
- Work under general supervision, typically reporting to a manager or head of a unit/dept.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Strong skills in using Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Must have strong working knowledge of supporting cost/price proposals (e.g. evaluating and understanding RFPs, developing cost/price models and narratives, summarizing financials, supporting strategic discussions related to price with executive leadership)
- Strong communication skills needed to interact with program personnel, as well as supporting infrastructure functions such as Contracts, Proposal Management, and Capture Management.
- Must be a detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills and ability to work in a quick and efficient manner.
- Ability to work on significant portions of a project with limited supervision.
- A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
