Job at a Glance
The Pricing Operations Coordinator is the go-to teammate and subject matter expert for all permanent and promotional pricing. This role ensures pricing efforts are executed accurately and on time across all chains and channels. The specialist serves as the key contact for troubleshooting and resolving pricing issues both in-store and online and works closely with cross-functional partners. This team is the frontline in investigating and resolving pricing issues.
Responsibilities
Analysis & Management
Analyze exclusion styles, vendors, and disclaimers and partner with merchants to identify opportunities to improve athlete experience
Analyze all submitted promotions and prices for compliance to defined pricing standards and proactively resolve issues with merchants, price strategy, and eCommerce
Build alignment and approval with merchandising leadership on price and promotional changes
Counsel and train merchant partners on best practices to ensure execution of merchant vision
Analyze weekly conflict and validation processes to proactively identify and resolve issues prior to execution
Communicate with downstream business partners on impacts of strategic changes
Own review and resolution of print and web promotions for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, including in-store validations and Cyber 5 preview environment validation
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
Monitor and promptly respond to reported pricing issues
Perform root cause analysis and identify solutions to quickly resolve issues
Quarterback issue resolution with cross-functional partners including merchants, signage, IT, marketing, eCommerce, and stores
Monitor issues to identify larger trends and process improvement opportunities
Process Execution & Operations
Coordinate, build, test, and execute complex promotions using eCommerce tool sets
Build all clearance promotions in accordance with program standards across all banners
Execute and maintain configurations and settings in price change tools
Build and test all outbound coupons for both stores and eCommerce
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
1–3 years of experience in retail
Accounting background not needed
