You will work alongside Microsoft MVP's, Databricks champions and other people with a storng authority in the markt. As a Principal Data Engineer, you take ownership of designing and delivering scalable Databricks environments, both greenfield and brownfield. A strong example of what this looks like: implementing a brand-new Databricks platform for a renowned hospital. You define the architecture, lead the transition from old to new, and guide your own team of consultants through the entire process end-to-end.What you'll do:Build fully automated, self-service data platforms on Azure & DatabricksDesign and implement Data Lakehouse architectures (greenfield & brownfield)Improve Spark performance and data architecture at enterprise scaleLead and mentor your own team of consultants on client engagementsAdvise on CI/CD, dbt pipelines, and multi-cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, MS Fabric)Your profile:7+ years experience as a (Senior / Principal) Data Engineer, consultancy background preferredDeep expertise in Databricks, PySpark and Spark optimisationExperience with Azure, AWS and/or Microsoft FabricAble to independently set up a Data Lakehouse architecture and bring teams alongYou live in Eindhoven or maximum of 45 minutes awayBenefits:Salary up to €110.000 incl. holiday pay, company car or €11,000 mobility budget, 25 vacation days + option to buy 5 more, 6 study days, 3 WFH days per week.Interested?
