Senior Software Development Engineer – TFS, Plano, TX We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who brings deep technical expertise, a sense of ownership, and a track record of driving meaningful outcomes. The role is based in Plano, TX. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies. Implement complex architecture in collaboration with enterprise architects, contributing actively to development efforts. Work with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities. Bring structure to ambiguous requirements through sound engineering judgment and initiative. Own critical components, driving performance, reliability, and long‑term maintainability. Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and technical leadership. Uphold best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring quality and scalability. What You Bring 12+ years of professional software development experience. Proven experience in software development with a solid technical foundation, including Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST API, real‑time streaming architectures, and microservices patterns. Proven experience delivering cloud‑native applications on AWS or other major cloud platforms. Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and event‑driven architecture in real‑world systems. Solid background in microservices and REST APIs. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), version control, and DevOps tooling. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Document DB. Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and deployment automation. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch. Full ownership mindset—writing, testing, and validating your own code to ensure quality and reliability. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across architecture, engineering, and product teams.
