The Principal Full Stack Developer serves as a senior technical leader responsible for shaping the design and delivery of innovative digital platforms that improve patient outcomes, connect medical devices, and enhance clinician experiences worldwide. This role architects and delivers enterprise-grade applications across the full stack, from intuitive front-end interfaces to scalable, secure back-end systems and cloud-native microservices. The position plays a critical role in advancing high-performing, compliant digital health and device software solutions while fostering engineering excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and coordinate engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable full stack solutions aligned to business objectives
Own the architecture, design, and delivery of end-to-end software solutions supporting digital health and connected device platforms
Define and implement cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, and microservices frameworks
Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, API-first design, and transition to microservices-based architectures
Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and scalable design patterns across development teams
Develop and oversee complex applications and APIs using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java Spring Boot
Partner with DevOps and data engineering teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and integrate analytics and AI-driven capabilities
Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA standards
Collaborate with product management, UX, and quality teams to deliver user-centered, high-performing software solutions
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across planning, estimation, and full software development life cycle execution
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years' experience in software development
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a principal, architect, or technical leadership role
Deep expertise in full stack development using Node.js, and/or Java, with strong back-end architecture experience
Proven experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems in AWS and/or Azure environments
Proficiency in SQL databases
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong understanding of security, performance, and accessibility best practices
Experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments
Proven technical leadership and ability to influence across teams
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in medical device, digital health, or other regulated environments
Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Event Hub
Familiarity with observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing
Experience with performance optimization and application security best practices
Exposure to AI/ML technologies and data-driven application development
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver well-designed, technically sound solutions
