Chief Integration Engineer Defense & Aerospace ProgramsAre you a seasoned technical authority ready to lead the transition of cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from design to mission-readiness? PrideStaff, a national workforce solutions firm, is honored to partner with a high-growth defense innovator to find a Principal Integration Engineer.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the senior technical authority for a third-party UAS, overseeing its integration into production and operational environments for critical U.S. Department of Defense programs.Compensation, Schedule, & Location DetailsSalary: $80,000 - $150,000 annually (depending on experience)Schedule: Monday FridayLocation: Miamisburg, OH 45342Experience: 12+ years in aerospace experience, preferably with high-performance UASClearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Authority: Serve as the primary engineering interface with the OEM, ensuring full system capability is duplicated at our site while maintaining rigid configuration control and airworthiness.Strategic Integration: Establish the "gold standard" for system integration strategies, technical standards, and best practices to support high-volume production.Operational Readiness: Accountable for the successful testing, delivery, and acceptance of UAS into operational environments in support of U.S. Government programs.Scaling & Sustainment: Plan for long-term sustainment and scalable manufacturing processes as the program matures.The Opportunity: From Execution to LeadershipThis role is designed for a visionary engineer who enjoys being hands-on during a build-up phase but wants a clear path to executive technical leadership.Phase 1 (Execution): Lead the technical transition of manufacturing, integration, and test processes from the OEM to our local facility.Phase 2 (Growth): As production scales, your role will evolve into a leadership-focused position, overseeing a technical team and driving strategic integration planning.What You'll Need to SucceedAdvanced Expertise: Proven experience in UAS system integration, manufacturing transition, or aerospace engineering within the defense sector.Technical Liaison Skills: Ability to work effectively with third-party OEMs to translate design authority into domestic production.Leadership Mindset: A track record of oversight in complex integration activities and the desire to build and lead an engineering team.Mission Focus: A deep commitment to delivering high-quality, mission-ready systems for the U.S. Department of Defense.Ready to Level Up Your Career?Apply today and have an updated resume ready for consideration.Have any questions?
