Position Summary Principal, IT ERP Functional Analyst (Services Procurement) implements and maintains ERP solutions for end-to-end Supply Chain Services procurement with cross-functional integrations. Expert in all phases of software lifecycle, including business process analysis, systems analysis, business process blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over preparation, end user training, and go-live activities as well as post go-live system and end user support. Works with the team of functional, technical experts, business SMEs and consultants responsible for developing/enhancing SAP and other applications required to support PG&E business systems. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $144,000 - $194,000. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. Bay Area Min: $ 144,000 Bay Area Max: $ 244,000 This new teammate needs to be able to come to Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Oakland headquarters 3 days a week, since all project team is here in person Tuesday to Thursday. Job Responsibilities Analyze complex business processes and information needs of one or more business functional areas. Understand in detail the current and future business environment of business clients; effectively anticipate, identify, and fully meet business needs using an integrated approach leveraging industries leading practices and SAP standard capabilities. Evaluate and document alternatives that provide the most effective solutions to complex business problems. Identify, propose, and influence solutions to complex business problems utilizing SAP and similar product capabilities Embrace and promote Fit to Standard mindset within business and project teams. Evaluate custom code solutions to help business and IT understand risks and costs of customizing vs. using standard functionalities; advocate for using standard functionalities to lower future implementation cost and total cost of ownership (TCO) for solutions. Analyze and design solutions independently with minimal guidance on the most complex projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful end to end solution designing and implementation. Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional development. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, business partners, and executive leadership, to advocate effective technology adoption and process improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation within ERP and procurement processes. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor's degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience 10 years in IT-Information Technology, or other job-related experience Strong SAP S4 Materials Management expertise and service procurement concepts with cross functional implications Desired: Graduate Degree or equivalent experience Ability to independently analyze and design solutions for highly complex projects Mastery of ERP concepts, principles, and practices across multiple business areas and ERP modules Experience working with large cross-functional teams Implemented SAP S4 Lean services solution with Service Entry Sheet (SES) Implementing or supporting complex services procurement solutions including T&M, Milestone-based and lumpsum contracts.
