Role Principal Network Engineer

Location Chaska, MN (Remote)

Client requested candidates local to Chaska, Minnesota (within 30-45 minutes at most). This is a remote role, but candidates must be willing to be on site only when needed.

NOTE:

For this role we're looking for candidates with more than 10 years of experience

"Any experience with: Internet Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of internet architecture, including internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks? It's a must for this role.

Must have

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network engineering, with a strong focus on internet routing.
• Internet Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of Internet architecture, including internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks.
• Network Redundancy and Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with network redundancy, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery practices specific to internet routing.
• Network Security: Experience with network security practices in internet routing, including DDoS mitigation, IP filtering, and secure routing protocols
• Independence and Communication: Capable of working with minimal guidance on complex tasks and excellent communication skills for effective interaction with leadership, peers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
