We’re seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer with deep expertise in RF/microwave receiver design up to 18 GHz who can lead complex design projects and mentor a team of talented engineers.We’re partnering with a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer developing next-generation RF and microwave solutions for SIGINT, EW, and radar applications. This team designs and delivers high-performance, mission-critical receiver and frequency conversion systems that set the standard for reliability and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of advanced RF/microwave receivers and frequency converters.

  • Contribute as both an individual designer and technical leader.

  • Perform top-level requirements analysis, system architecture, and functional allocations.

  • Support business development efforts through white papers and technical proposals.

  • Present design concepts and technical updates to customers during design reviews.

  • Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in RF/microwave circuit design for receivers or frequency converters to 18 GHz or higher.

  • Expertise with SMT-based PCB RF/MW circuit design, frequency planning, spur analysis, and PLL integration.

  • Experience in super-het receiver design, wideband, high dynamic range, and/or mmWave systems.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Keysight Genesys, OrCAD, MATLAB, and PSPICE.

  • Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
