Role Overview In this role you will be working with the latest technology to modernize software product production with DevSecOps—continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous cyber, continuous deployment, and continuous metrics on aerospace programs. Specifically, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, deployment, and operation of a modern DevSecOps software factory. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams such as Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test in an Agile software development environment. Key Responsibilities Stand up a large-scale software factory used by software teams. Implement all segments of the DevSecOps lifecycle—including continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous cyber, and continuous deployment pipelines. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Software Engineering, including background in the agile development lifecycle; or a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience; or a Ph.D. and 1 year of related experience. Experience with at least one object‑oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift) and software development lifecycle. Experience with developing software using agile processes (Kanban, Scrum, Scrumban). Experience with a change‑management tracking system tool such as Jira, ClearQuest, Asana. Experience with a continuous integration tool such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Gitlab. Experience with a configuration management system such as GIT, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Subversion. Experience implementing the DevSecOps lifecycle—including continuous build, integration, test, deployment, cyber, monitoring. Experience configuring virtual machines and virtual networks (VPC, NSX‑T, NSX‑V). Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim Secret clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. Preferred Qualifications Certification with cloud technology (AWS, VMWare, Azure, Kubernetes) at the beginner level. Experience implementing automated collection and reporting of software metrics. Experience implementing a cyber analysis regimen on a program. Experience implementing cyber remediation and cyber compliance on a program. Experience implementing and operating cyber remediation and risk management framework (RMF). Active Secret DoD clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. Pay Ranges by Location Florida: $98,400 – $147,600 California: $114,000 – $171,000 Primary level salary range: $98,400.00 – $171,000.00. The above range is a guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Additional Compensation Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives. Other benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and personal business.
