This is a 100% Remote role.Key Responsibilities:Learn, applying, and promoting Nuclear Safety Culture Traits and Human Performance Tools at Westinghouse and with our suppliersLead supplier development and qualification activities for new products and cost reduction efforts. This includes identification of project risks and mitigating actions, managing project schedules, approval of supplier process documents, process capability analyses, measurement system analyses, input to design for manufacturability.Lead technical assessments of new suppliers for manufacturing capability, capacity, process controls and supply risksPerform on-site and remote supplier oversight to improve, resolve issues and validate capability to meet requirementsManage internal and supplier corrective action requests, perform cause analyses, and verify completion of preventative and corrective actionsLead and escalate “quality events”, coordinating activities, issuing communications, identifying team members to ensure prompt identification of impacted products, disposition, & corrective actionEvaluate procurement risk, solicit partner input, and use tools to develop security of supply risk mitigation plansUse manufacturing process knowledge for make/buy decisionsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering5+ years of progressive experience in engineering/manufacturingKnowledge in manufacturing processes, e.g. CNC machiningExperience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualificationWorking knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs.Experience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualificationIdentify main project tasks, develop schedules, manage spendExperience leading multiple, concurrent projects]Experience authoring technical documents or operating proceduresRead drawings and specifications made to ASME standardsExperience with nuclear products and standards desiredProject Management experience desiredWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
