Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join our growing investment team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across a variety of industries. You will work closely with senior investment professionals, supporting due diligence, financial modeling, and transaction structuring to help drive value creation within the firm's portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Sourcing & Deal Origination: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential investment opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, management teams, and industry experts.
  • Due Diligence: Lead and coordinate the due diligence process for new investments, including financial, operational, and market analysis. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party advisors to evaluate business models, risks, and growth potential.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.) and valuation analyses to support investment recommendations and decision-making. Analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and industry trends.
  • Transaction Execution: Support senior team members in negotiating terms, structuring transactions, and managing the overall deal process from initial investment through to closing.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies. Provide analytical support for operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and exit strategies. Prepare quarterly and annual performance reports.
  • Market Research & Industry Insights: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
    • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools.
    • Demonstrated experience in M&A, capital markets, or investment analysis is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to build complex financial models and perform in-depth company and market analysis.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior management, advisors, and external stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $100,000 $150,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus potential, subject to individual and company performance.
