This position offers the flexibility to accommodate either full-time or part-time applicants, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced legal professionals seeking work-life balance.***This is not a remote position***Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and filing probate documents.Manage deadlines and monitor and track case progress, alerting attorneys to critical deadlines.Coordinate communication with clients, court personnel, and financial institutions.Assist with estate administration tasks, including gathering and valuing assets, managing creditors, and distributing assets.Maintain and organize client files, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.Draft correspondence and maintain client communication throughout the probate process.Qualifications:Previous experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in probate law or estate planning is strongly preferred.Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is a plus but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage based on experienceFlexible scheduling options (full-time or part-time)Collaborative and supportive work environment
