Position Summary
The Process & Automation Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing automation initiatives within the bank's operations department to enhance efficiency and system integration. This position provides regular operational support while contributing to process optimization, data integration, and overall efficiency of banking operations through technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of operational systems, automation, and implementation in partnership with the IT Department.
- Work alongside leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation solutions to enhance efficiency in bank operations.
- Maintain proficiency of the bank's data systems and integration platforms.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to system performance and operational metrics.
- Lead the development and implementation of automated workflows and data integration solutions.
- Design and implement process automation tools to streamline banking operations.
- Bridge communication between IT and Operations departments on technology initiatives.
- Maintain general knowledge of all bank operations procedures and system interactions.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on automation projects and system performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or another related field, or equivalent experience, with two or more years of experience in banking operations, business analysis, or process improvement.
- Knowledge of automation tools and banking operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow design skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to bridge technical and operational teams.
- Dependable and a quick learner.
