Overview Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Controls Network Engineer to join their team. As a Process Controls Network Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Process Controls Network Engineer Location: Oklahoma Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 No Sponsorship Available What’s the Job? Design, develop, and maintain industrial control system solutions including DCS, PLC, and HMI programs to meet operational needs. Implement software updates, patches, and manage network data and files to ensure system integrity and security. Create, test, and archive backups and disaster recovery files for critical systems and networks. Monitor KPIs for the Process Control Network (PCN) and initiate corrective actions to optimize system performance. Collaborate with plant management, engineers, maintenance teams, and contractors to provide expert guidance and support control system upgrades and troubleshooting. What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Chemical, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution. At least 1 year of experience designing, commissioning, and maintaining DCS-based control systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Experience supporting and maintaining industrial automation networks, including firewalls and remote implementations. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, and understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS. Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. What’s in it for me?
