Process Engineer Co-Ops help support daily operations and product development. They perform process definition (PD) audits, file PDs and consult with specialists and engineers on updates as needed. They support troubleshooting efforts by participating in root cause analysis exercises, assisting in trials, measuring cups and analyzing data. Co-Ops participate in continuous improvement projects pertaining to safety, scrap reduction and increased productivity. Support includes brainstorming ideas, creating drawings, getting quotes from machine shops and testing prototypes. Process Engineer Co-Ops work with product development on design reviews by cross-referencing dimensions, collecting and analyzing data, assisting with troubleshooting and providing feedback on process improvements. They will help implement new quality tests including designing fixtures, gauges, and completing Gauge R&Rs.
