Position Summary:MFM Building Products Corporation, a leading manufacturer of waterproof membranes and related building products located in Coshocton, Ohio, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will support plant operations by analyzing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety. This role will focus on continuous improvement, reducing scrap, and ensuring reliable production operations while supporting company growth. As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, MFM offers employees the unique opportunity to share directly in the success and growth of the business.Key Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality.Identify and implement process improvements to reduce scrap, minimize downtime, and improve reliability.Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards, including MFM’s Safety Absolutes.Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects across production lines.Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and maintenance teams to support new equipment installations and process changes.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for process-related issues.Provide training and guidance to operators and production staff on process changes and best practices.Participate in cross-functional projects to support company growth and operational excellence.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.Experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.Ability to analyze complex production data and provide actionable recommendations.Proficiency in CAD, process simulation, or other engineering software preferred.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities with cross-functional teams.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERWe are an equal opportunity employer.
