Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and materials laboratory located in Grove City, OH manages the entire life cycle of all our products including supply chain development, research and development, manufacturing, testing and distribution.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a specific technical area.
- Leads projects as assigned by engineering manager.
- Documents work effectively and presents results to internal cross functional groups.
- Develops and maintains procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support technical area.
- Works cross functionally on projects and initiatives.
- Applies problem solving, SPC, and other engineering fundamentals to support investigations.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives, including quality and EHS opportunities.
- Supports technical discussions with suppliers and customers in specific technical area of focus.
- Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assignments, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.
- Other related duties.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent.
Skills and Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of technical focus area.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of structured problem solving, SPC, lean principles, and FMEA preferred.
- Computer literacy required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process
