Are you a results-driven Process Engineer eager to make a significant impact with a global leader specializing in high-reliability magnetics for Space, Civil Aviation, Defense, and other critical industries? Exxelia Magnetics, with over 40 years of expertise in design and manufacturing, is seeking a passionate engineer to support the growing demands of our manufacturing operations. This is your chance to directly develop and enhance new manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with production teams to identify needs and optimize efficiency. You'll be instrumental in designing and developing new tools and processes to ensure our cutting-edge products transition seamlessly from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.Job Responsibilities: Manage and implement new manufacturing processes and process improvements.Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors, Operators and other Engineering resources in helping to both identify process improvement needs and their implementation.Identify alternative manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.Research automation techniques, test new systems for efficiency and plan factory layouts to optimize production.Design and develop new tools, fixtures and processes to support manufacturing of both new and existing products.Develop clear work instructions for new or updated processes and provide the needed Operator training to ensure a smooth transition from prototyping into high volume manufacturing.Provide technical support & technical direction in addressing manufacturing issues.Ensure that manufacturing processes are compliant with all company quality standardsRequired Skills and Experience:BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Process Engineering 3 years’ minimum experience in manufacturing organizationStrong mechanical design skills and experience using mechanical design software, i.e. Solid Works, etc.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to manage multiple & varied responsibilities (i.e. tasks, projects) in a fast-paced environment Experience in a high performance, high collaborative work environmentAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExxelia is committed to equal opportunity for all, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
