Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Process Engineer . For over 70 years, as a German technology leader, we have been driving innovation in high-tech tools and thermal processing for semiconductors, microelectronics, and photovoltaics. Our U.S. branch is based in Durham, NC, but most of the time, you'll be on customer assignments in Marcy, NY. Duties and Key Responsibilities: Process and equipment commissioning of Centrotherm systems for semiconductor technology and photovoltaics, as well as proof of contractually guaranteed specifications. Evaluation and documentation of process data and parameters obtained during commissioning. Process and process software training for customers. Determination and updating of consumption values and reliability data. Development of new processes. Attending congresses and exhibitions. Processing of demonstration and test wafer. Willingness to travel (This job based in Sacramento California area as primary residence with opportunity to travel to other customer locations in US). Requirements: Completed master’s degree or comparable education (Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of semiconductor process experience) (Thermal processing preferred). Good analytical thinking and ability to work independently. Interest in semiconductor technology/systems as well as interdisciplinary work. Careful and reliable working style. Good command of written and spoken English. Flexible approach to changing conditions. Strong communication skills, social competence, and good teamwork skills. Willingness to travel.
