Pinnacle Search is working with a Mocksville-based manufacturing client to identify a Process Engineer to join their team. This role will report to the Quality Manager and will serve dual functions. The right candidate for this role will have experience writing work instructions, managing continuous improvement projects, and conducting quality audits. This client has some major continuous improvement projects coming down the pipeline in the next few years, so this is a great time to join their team! This is a great opportunity to learn from industry experts and work under a leader who will not micromanage you. Duties Continuous improvement for processes - maintenance and overhauling of documentation for SOPs and work instructions Supporting quality and safety audits - they have monthly KPIs for the number of quality audits they must do Overseeing 20-25 process audits per month One full-blown internal audit in which they watch start-to-finish process by one Operator to ensure work instructions are being properly followed - usually lasts an hour Quality Checks on the floor Improving work instructions and looking for ways to improve processes Collaborating with the corporate design team, who controls their design and quality requirements - once a month meeting with that team at present Catching them up on their backlog of SOPs and work instructions that need to be reviewed, potentially revised, or overhauled Experience Required Hands-on quality and continuous improvement experience Experience writing work instructions and SOPs Preference for someone with a Six Sigma belt Preference for someone with tire manufacturing or retreading experience Soft Skills Driven Able to work with autonomy Personable Able to prioritize independently Able to work quickly and efficiently Not one to overthink tasks - able to see the gray areas Patience to learn - they anticipate that if someone doesn’t have hands-on tire experience, it may take up to a year for them to learn the nuances of their production and quality processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
