Permanent | Full-Time

Airswift is supporting a long‑established global chemical manufacturer known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainable process solutions across industries including pulp & paper, energy, agriculture, food processing, and water treatment.


We are seeking a Process/Project Engineer to join this high‑performing team and contribute to continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence.


The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll be responsible for improving process safety, operational efficiency, product quality, environmental performance, and cost control. You will lead projects from design through installation and support cross‑functional teams with your expertise in process engineering.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Manage small to medium engineering projects end‑to‑end
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Specify equipment/materials to enhance plant reliability
  • Troubleshoot complex process issues and drive root‑cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, and environmental standards
  • Support environmental reporting, permitting, and inspections
  • Lead process and safety incident investigations
  • Participate in on‑call supervisory rotation


Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in continuous manufacturing environments
  • Strong process engineering background with exposure to project management
  • Leadership presence with the ability to influence plant teams


Preferred

  • Lean / Six Sigma experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset
