As a Process Engineer, you’ll lead continuous improvement efforts, optimize equipment and processes, partner with R&D, and drive the performance and reliability of our LVT manufacturing line. This is a high‑impact role designed for problem‑solvers who love fast‑paced manufacturing, data‑driven decision‑making, and meaningful collaboration. Job Title Process Engineer This position is located in Ringgold, GA. The purpose of this position is to manage all engineering improvement initiatives related to process, equipment and materials as we create high performing, customer‑centric flooring products. Essential Duties Requirement of various troubleshooting skills and the ability to make quick sound decisions. Responsible for reviewing and disposition of quality, including root cause analysis and prevention. Submit expense and capital projects for future machine modifications. Coordinate trials with R&D. Work closely with both Corporate and site engineering to maintain the integrity of the mechanics of the line. Maintain Six Sigma projects utilizing appropriate tools for asset reliability improvement, downtime reduction, etc. Develop relationships with manufacturing technical, research and development as well as other departments at RP to ensure improvements. Provide effective and timely reports for the facility and corporate management. Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using financial reports and Engineering tools to drive improvement and cost reductions. Organize and execute assigned projects while maintaining records on the projects and develop training documentation for new and existing processes to include the writing of work instructions. Build relationships with all associates to be able to coach, train and develop using tools of Operational Excellence. Management of co‑op support. Meet with management teams to ensure progress towards facility goals. Work on projects as assigned by the Manager, as well as any other duties requested. Previous Process or Project Engineering Experience. Understanding of computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Minitab, Google, etc. Ability to present information in a professional and user friendly presentations. Strong quantitative & communication skills (Oral, written, & presentation to individuals & groups) Ability to manage multiple projects and work without close Supervision. Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred. Must be will to go through Six Sigma training. Previous Continuous Line or Milling experience preferred.
