We are seeking a skilled Manager of Process Engineering to assume a pivotal role within a lean manufacturing environment.
We are looking for an individual experienced in driving continuous improvement projects, mentoring operators in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and exemplifying a hands-on leadership style.
This role is tailored for professionals who have progressed from a Process Engineer role to an Engineering management position.


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in process engineering or related roles within the realm of high-speed manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is a prerequisite.
  • Proven capability in leading high-performing teams and overseeing cross-functional projects.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is essential; Black Belt certification is a nice to have.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
  • A deep understanding of machinery and mechanical operations is required.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations governing manufacturing is expected.

Essential Duties:
  • Lead the Process Engineering team in achieving daily and long-term production objectives.
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to optimize processes, focusing on enhancing cost-efficiency, quality, and production capacity.
  • Regularly review and maintain comprehensive documentation of optimal operating parameters.
  • Cultivate professional and technical growth among process engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and development departments to prioritize and execute projects.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to address equipment efficiency and quality issues, ensuring swift communication of resolutions.
  • Collaborate with production and development teams to optimize the processing of raw materials and introduce innovative materials.
  • Develop and enforce performance metrics to drive excellence in manufacturing processes.
  • Initiate and lead cost-saving initiatives, consistently surpassing plant objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with production management to promote accountability.
  • Oversee the installation of new production lines and manage significant equipment upgrades.
  • Stay current with industry trends to inform strategic operational improvements.
  • Adapt strategies based on evolving business needs, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
