Position: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Client: Automotive Manufacturing
Location: Webberville, MI

This role requires an experienced Engineer with a focus on manufacturing systems and processes. The candidate must have machining experience and be able to evaluate and improve existing processes, reduce costs, and promote best practices in production.
Key responsibilities include maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing systems, developing innovative solutions, running ROI calculations for equipment and process changes, and training CNC Machinists. The Engineer will also be responsible for quality control, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Additional duties include improving tooling, programming new tooling or changes due to design alterations, creating CAD drawings for design changes, and supporting the APQP process while meeting all quality system requirements.
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably within an automotive machining manufacturer. Experience with the SAP program and CNC Machining is preferred. Strong understanding of engineering terminology and precision measuring and testing tools is also required.
The desired education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or a combination of education and work experience.
Salary: $90K-$100K, + great benefits!
