Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive organization, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing purchasing data and documentation, coordinating supplier-related requests and surveys, and supporting purchasing programs, audits, and internal process compliance. The position also helps track key deliverables tied to new launches and operational purchasing activities.

Job Duties

• Maintain and organize purchasing data, files, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility
• Coordinate and track supplier data requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
• Administer supplier surveys, compile results, and deliver structured reporting to stakeholders
• Manage cost and pricing data within internal systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies in collaboration with purchasing teams
• Support the development, documentation, and enforcement of internal purchasing procedures
• Assist with audit preparation, documentation collection, and compliance activities
• Coordinate purchasing-related projects and support planning efforts across programs
• Track purchasing deliverables tied to new product launches and ensure on-time completion
• Report project status, risks, and progress updates to leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and plant operations to support production and procurement needs
