Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develops and implements procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Analyzes market trends, pricing structures, and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
- Negotiates contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value and reliability.
- Monitors inventory levels and purchasing schedules to support production and operational requirements.
- Prepares and manages purchasing budgets in coordination with Finance and Operations leadership.
- Collaborates with internal departments including Finance, Operations, Inventory, and Quality Assurance to forecast procurement needs and support project timelines.
- Checks in returned inventory from field team, customers and vendors.
- Purchases and coordinates manufacturing parts purchased parts, and materials required for production.
- Tracks and communicates purchase order status, delivery schedules, and order discrepancies.
- Works with vendors on damaged goods/warranty issues and prepares necessary documents.
- Participates in cross-functional initiatives to improve procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Initiates and maintains vendor setup and documentation with suppliers.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Participates in cross-functional projects and initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintains pricing and cost in NetSuite and on price list.
