Position Overview The Procurement Category Manager – MRO will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, defining strategies for and executing strategic sourcing and category management activities for Titan America’s Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) spend across multiple operating sites. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, service levels, and supply continuity while ensuring compliance with Titan America Procurement, EHS, Sustainability, and other relevant policies. In addition to primary MRO category ownership, the role provides procurement support to strategic CAPEX projects and national agreements, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Project teams. Primary Responsibilities – Strategic MRO Category Management Category Strategy & Strategic Sourcing Define sourcing MRO category procurement strategies to drive cost reduction and maximize value. Develop and execute multi-year MRO category strategies aligned with operational, safety, reliability, and financial objectives. Lead sourcing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services. Drive standardization, supplier consolidation, and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements. Ensure sourcing strategies support operational uptime and supply continuity. MRO Category Scope such as Maintenance and repair services (mechanical, electrical, industrial services) Oils, lubricants, and fluids Tools and consumables Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) supplies and services Mechanical spare parts Electrical spare parts and components Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting operational, safety, and commercial requirements. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with national, regional, and local suppliers. Monitor supplier performance against cost, quality, service, safety, and compliance KPIs. Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective actions. Contract Negotiation & Commercial Management Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service levels. Establish and manage master supply agreements and service contracts. Ensure contracts are structured to mitigate financial and operational risk. Cost & Value Management Analyze spend, consumption patterns, and market conditions. Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity improvements. Track and report savings, cost inflation, and budget variances. Secondary Responsibilities – CAPEX Procurement Support Support sourcing and commercial activities for strategic capital projects. Assist with supplier evaluation, commercial comparisons, and contract negotiations. Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Finance, and Legal teams. Support change order management, risk mitigation, and supplier performance. Ensure CAPEX procurement activities comply with Titan America policies and governance. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience with strong MRO category ownership. Experience supporting capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Additional Information Occasional travel to Titan America sites and supplier locations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
