Job Summary: The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for all sourcing activities, including contracting, within relevant Indirect Service Categories. The role involves procuring supplies and services per the client’s policies and negotiating optimal terms for price, quality, and delivery. The Sourcing Specialist will support end-to-end category management, contract excellence, and supplier optimisation, and drive procurement activities to enhance business operations.
Must-have skills and tools:
3+ years of sourcing/category management experience, including contract drafting, review and negotiation.
Experience in indirect category procurement in the consumer goods industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bachelor’s Degree is required, in a Supply Chain, Finance, or Business-related course.
Good to have:
Experience working in multi-national companies with diverse cultures is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Spend, Supplier, and Stakeholder Management:
Manage supplier communications, including sourcing event invitations, issue resolution, and contract negotiations.
Assess change needs and support change management integration and compliance education.
2. Buying and Sourcing:
Oversee the end-to-end Requisition to Pay process, including managing purchase orders and reviewing requisitions.
Drive the sourcing process for relevant categories, ensuring supplier performance in terms of service, quality, and delivery.
Execute sourcing events, evaluate results, and address supplier inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies.
3. Contract Negotiation, Development, and Management:
Draft and negotiate contracts based on approved templates, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and legal requirements.
Manage contract execution from creation to supplier signature, including archiving in the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
Collaborate with Procurement, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and other functions, and recommend contract amendments as needed.
4. Sourcing Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies through analysis of industries, suppliers, and spending categories.
Engage with stakeholders to optimize supplier performance and drive cost savings.
