Our client, a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer, is actively hiring a Procurement Specialist to join their team in Bohemia, NY! This role will be hybrid and be on-site 4x a week. *This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits offered! In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity . You will also direct and manage all schedules and purchase orders for that supplier account or the product family. Responsibilities Ensure products are delivered on time Handle the procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis Respond to supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly Skills Bachelor's or Master's Degree 6+ years of experience Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Prior experience in aerospace or manufacturing is a plus Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
