Passionate about Pricing and looking for work life balance? Come Join Us! We have an amazing opportunity for a Procurement/Supply Chain Coordinator role here in San Diego, CA - (Hybrid Schedule). As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will prepare pricing proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFP's) on various IDIQ programs supporting Sercos SI2 business unit. This position is expected to create, maintain, and consistently update pricing templates to meet the rapid response needs of the portfolio. The ideal candidate will excel in a high paced environment with extreme attention to detail. Core functions of the role include preparing competitive and fully compliant cost/price proposals, develop pricing related briefings, enhance, and create cost/price models, cost/price narratives, acquiring cost/pricing approvals, and maintaining pricing related documentation. Works under general supervision, typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/dept.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, including TINA and certified cost or pricing data, including compliance with internal company policies, Cost Estimating System Manual (CESM), FAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements and address deviations.
  • Assess input, documents from proposal team members, and advises for sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Contracts, Subcontracts, Small Business Office, Program Business Support, Compliance, and HR on specific proposals and processes.
  • Maintain detailed pricing documentation files to serve as reference for future inquiries or audits.
  • Provide audit support to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate government regulations.
  • Advise on pre-contract discussions and negotiations of contract awards, as appropriate.
  • Perform analysis and business case scenarios for specific proposals.
  • Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations including purchasing and inventory of materials.
  • Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products.
  • Interact with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met.
  • Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on extensive experience to accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree
    • Or a High School Diploma with 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Proposal and RFP development experience
  • Strong analytical and communications skills required
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on significant portions of a project with limited supervision
  • Strong skills in using Excel and PowerPoint required
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $96,936.08 to $157,519.86; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
