Seasons Kosher in Scarsdale, NY is seeking an experienced Produce Cutter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares: Cuts, washes, peels, and shreds fruits and vegetables
• Packages: Labels and packages containers
• Displays: Stocks cut fruit and vegetables
• Maintains: Ensures quality and preparation meet company guidelines
• Stores: Stores cut fruit in appropriate containers and temperatures
• Inspects: Ensures fruit quality meets company standards before cutting or packaging
• Cleans: Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment

Requirements

• Physical Dexterity: Ability to handle knives and other cutting tools with precision and safety. 
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring proper quality and presentation of cut produce. 
• Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food handling practices and sanitation procedures. 
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to accurately weigh and measure produce. 
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other produce staff to meet customer demand. 
• Work Environment: Typically in a refrigerated produce section of a grocery store or a dedicated cut produce facility. May involve standing for long periods, repetitive motions, and exposure to cold temperatures.
