Summary/Objective

This position leads the strategic, technical, and regulatory aspects of dairy manufacturing to ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant products. This senior-level role focuses on establishing quality standards (HACCP, SQF), overseeing regulatory compliance (PMO, FDA, USDA), and optimizing processing efficiencies. This position is to disseminate, deploy and contribute to the implementation of good practices for managing cheese processes. This position will cover US Plants.

Core Competencies are strategic thinking, data analysis, strong communication, problem-solving, financial acumen, leadership, project management, and technical understanding of production. This position is the guarantor of good cheesemaking practices and technology. Is a source of suggestions for the design of new products and the improvement of existing products. This position must respect safety, hygiene and quality rules.

Essential Functions

Technological Expertise

• Technological expertise in Dairy Process Control

• Establish quality standards, oversee audits, manage measurement systems, and ensure product compliance with regulations.

• Analyze production data, KPIs (yield, shrink, cost), and lab reports to identify, implement, and track improvements in processing efficiency and product consistency.

• Support for PSP (Product Superiority) or Quality plan put in place

• Support for issues related to quality of production

• Support product validation for product changes or new products

• Support on industrial sites, site visits

• Monitoring of industrial KPIs and consolidation at the category level

Training

• Participate in and lead inter-site training courses on set up (Ecole Fromagère (School of Cheese)/ Savoirs Faire Métier (Cheese Knowhow)). Dairy background Sensory background

• Lead and transmit Best Practices on specific issues: Material assessment / membrane techniques / column molding / ripening, etc.

• Consolidates the use of Systemic Analysis data and contributes to new implementations on new products/sites

Communication

• Participates in strategic reflections upstream of developments.
