Product DesignerLocation: RemoteReporting to: CPO / CEORole SummaryWe are looking for a Product Designer who can design impactful, scalable, and detail-oriented user experiences for complex digital products. This role goes beyond visual design and you will be responsible for shaping end-to-end user journeys, handling edge cases, and translating product and business requirements into intuitive, high-quality interfaces.You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to solve problems that involve multi-step workflows, structured data, and system-level thinking. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing user needs with technical constraints, designing with a high level of precision and pleasant user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end product experiences, from discovery and concept to high-fidelity UI and implementation supportTranslate complex requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and interaction designsHandle detailed design scenarios, including edge cases, empty states, error handling, and conditional logicCollaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and well-implementedContribute to and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across the productProduce clear design documentation and specifications for development handoffIterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and business prioritiesAdvocate for users while balancing product, technical, and operational constraintsQualificationsMin 4 years of experience in product design or UI/UX designProven experience designing digital products ecosystemStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, not just final UI outputsExperience working in cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business)Proficiency with FigmaUnderstanding of design systems, interaction design, and usability principlesAbility to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersCore Competencies for this LevelSystems Thinking: Able to design across interconnected flows, features, and user rolesAttention to Detail: Strong focus on states, edge cases, and interaction nuancesProblem Structuring: Breaks down complex problems into clear, logical design solutionsUser-Centric Thinking: Balances user needs with business goals and technical constraintsCollaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporates feedback constructivelyAdaptability: Comfortable working in evolving environments with shifting prioritiesCommunication: Clearly articulates design rationale, trade-offs, and decisionsCultural Nuance: Understanding how Indonesians play and organize sports (e.g., the importance of WhatsApp groups in "Mabar" culture) and how to migrate those habits into the app.
