Product Development Engineer Job #: 2821 Job Location: Hybrid Role (1 day Remote | 4 days onsite at 1 Becton Drive Franklin Lakes NJ 07417) Pay Rate: $60.00/hr – $66.00/hr Position Summary The Product Development Engineer provides technical and engineering support for the design and development of new and existing products. This role also supports current products by improving quality, manufacturability, supply continuity, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, hands‑on testing experience, and the ability to analyze data and contribute to innovative technical solutions in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Product Design & Development Support design and development activities for new and existing products. Engineer robust, manufacturable products using sound engineering principles. Contribute innovative solutions to technical challenges. Testing & Validation Develop and execute test methods and strategies, including: Measurement equipment selection Test setup and execution Measurement system analysis Data collection and analysis Coordinate with internal and external labs for test execution. Write detailed technical reports based on design verification and testing. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze empirical test data and draw conclusions aligned with product requirements and standards. Utilize statistical tools and computer‑based analysis to support engineering decisions. Support existing products in areas of quality, manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement. Participate in cross‑functional and technical project work.
