Position Summary: We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic technical team in Houston. This role is integral to the ideation, design, development, testing, and commercialization of cutting-edge downhole tools. From concept and feasibility through to SIT, field trials and deployment, you\'ll collaborate with the BiSN team to bring next-generation solutions to life. You will lead design initiatives, create qualification plans, and perform detailed engineering analyses while keeping projects on track and aligned with BiSN’s high performance standards. Responsibilities Design and develop new products and systems to expand and enhance BiSN’s offerings. Define, document, and communicate test protocols and qualification plans. Analyze test results, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. Plan and track project milestones across design, prototyping, and testing phases. Perform engineering calculations and design validations. Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred). Maintain thorough and organized engineering documentation and product files. Report project metrics on a regular basis. Challenge the status-quo and strive to set a higher bar. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering essential. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Experience with engineering design, testing, product validation, and qualification planning. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. 2+ years of experience in downhole oilfield tool design, testing, or field support.
