About the Role Create retail Point of Purchase displays. Generate engineering drawings and support sales and production teams. Use Pro-E (CREO) to modify designs based on sales input. Prepare BOMs from drawings for production. Assist the sample shop for rapid prototyping. Provide engineering support during manufacturing. Design and refine products, ensuring they meet specifications. Suggest efficient, cost-effective procedures. Conduct design assessments. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to meet project timelines. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; reports to a manager. The role is independent, needing over 4 years of experience. Responsibilities Create retail Point of Purchase displays. Generate engineering drawings and support sales and production teams. Qualifications BSME or BS in Industrial Design. At least 4 years’ experience developing designs for manufacturability (sheet metal, tube, and wire preferred). At least 4 years’ experience using CAD software for modeling and engineering drawing development. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Ability to work well within an office environment and with shop personnel. Experience designing with wood and plastic a plus. Essential Job Functions Producing designs, prints and specifications. Effective inter-department communications. Reporting for work regularly and on time.
