• Assist with Product Development for Beauty Brand spanning across different categories - Skincare, Colored Cosmetics, Bath and Body, Suncare, etc.

• Assist Product Development Manager with the development, evaluation and follow-through for new beauty products, formula improvements, packaging and accessories
• Source packaging vendors, labs, and manufacturers
• Oversee formulators, vendors, and manufacturers to meet deadlines and drive progress during the development process
• Evaluate incoming samples/products and provide timely feedback to external partners
• Oversee product testing
• Perform competitive research on new products and ingredient technologies to establish supporting data towards new product concepts
• Maintain product development spreadsheets and other internal documents

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in beauty product development
• Knowledge and experience in managing product development projects from start to finish
• Passion for beauty and skincare
• Collaborative, open minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills are a must
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Office is located in North County San Diego
