Overall Responsibility This position works Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. This position is responsible for supporting the company’s QA operations as needed; support the design of new products and business opportunities. Essential Responsibilities Support product concepts and design through deciphering or generation a legal label claim. Support working on new product formulation development and pricing. Supporting product design by creating lab scale batches and coordinating sample manufacturing with the production/packaging departments. Support the manufacturing processes and assist with formulation adjustments to improve manufacturing efficiency. Support with reviewing ingredient changes/substitutions. Support with creating new product labels. Support label review/ approval and label law comprehension. Supporting Label Control Personnel with label related question/issues and assisting with label review and approval. Research ingredients for safety. Assisting other departments with documentation and QA related functions. Work Requirements and Skills Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position Pharmacy Technician Certification, required, or 2 or more years of experience as an R&D Technician Knowledge of GMP regulations as applicable to dietary supplements is preferred Ability to multi-task and take initiative without supervision Able to work in a fast-paced environment Competency in basic computer skills including MS Office applications: Word and Excel Demonstrates flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary Must be detail-oriented with good organization skills Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift Benefits 401(k) and contribution from company Incentive pay 16 days of paid time off and paid holidays Life and short/long-term disability insurance Professional development assistance Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending account Referral program Career growth path In-house product allowance #J-18808-Ljbffr
