All of the products and services that we offer are integral to the increasingly complex digital world in which we live, providing power and connectivity from the most common household items to the most complex medical equipment.Job OverviewProduct Engineer role reports to Engineering Manager.Job scopes will include Wire harness projects and Indonesian EV Customer & US/EU EV Customer(s)Job ResponsibilitiesTechnical contact person to Customer to support NPI process from sample to SOP and to clarify product specifications, product testing requirement before sample marking, T0,T1 and PPAP stageTo review specification drawing/production drawing (2D or 3D) correctness for sample submission and new product spec release & production drawing requirementsTo check and review the drawing correctness versus Customer drawing, spec, golden sampleTo maintain latest Customer spec and revision update, ECR for any product changesTo compile FA report, ISIR, data sheet, customer FA requirements, PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan, Flow chart during product qualificationTo lead BOM /system update for the current and new product for any ECN/ECRTo ensure new project can be deliver to meet OTD (on time delivery)To coordinate internal reliability test that related to new project/product and external test that required by safety team/Customer specific requirementsQuick respond and fast turnaround time for any Customer inquiry/email in related to product specificationsTo support Value Engineering programs /alternative source Key Qualifications and Desirable Experience- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the same role- Min D3 on electrical/electronic engineering- Familiar with electrical/ electronic components, wire harness, etc- Computer literate with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), AUTO CAD & Microsoft Project is advantageous- Fluent in EnglishEqual Opportunity StatementVolex is committed to upholding fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory employment practices.
