Operations Product Engineer | Stevenage | £50,000 - £70,000Our client is a global leader in the design and production of advanced satellite ground systems, delivering hardware solutions for satellite communications, broadcast services, and navigation applications across commercial and government sectors. They are looking for an Operations Product Engineer to join their team. The Role:+Assist with the transition of new products from development into full-scale production.+Design and build bespoke test equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.+Develop and implement automated production test systems, primarily using LabVIEW.+Establish and commission new test stations within the manufacturing environment.+Prepare comprehensive documentation detailing assembly processes and production test procedures.Key Skills and Experience:+Proven ability to develop automated test solutions for manufacturing environments, primarily using LabVIEW.+Practical experience in the manufacture of electronic products.+Involvement in new product introduction (NPI), project coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.+Hands-on experience with RF testing, including test methodologies, equipment selection, and automation development.The candidate must be prepared to travel as required to support production (typically not exceeding, but not limited to 2-3 times per year).Join a dynamic and innovative engineering team where you’ll play a key role in bringing cutting-edge electronic products from concept into full-scale manufacture.
