Position overview

The Production Information Supervisor acts as a critical curator and verifier of technology-based assets and descriptions within the Ford ecosystem, with an emphasis on accurate depictions and/or demonstrations to comply with real-world functionality and compliance within advertising and legal standards. With focus in the digital space, this role reviews and provides direction on applicable images, shopping tools, claims, functionality, messaging, and disclaimers in each communication, and well as proactively ensuring correct assets and functionality descriptions are curated and saved to be reused within the Ford ecosystem. They also ensures that critical product information is proactively provided in advance of these communications, including providing availability grids and other crafted documents to be used as a reference by the broader team to ensure availability and comparisons developed for various end uses are accurate and compliant. Opportunity exists within this role to expand into Driver Assist and Safety features as well as other communications tools like clipsheets, claims portals and competitive analysis in the technical space.

Responsibilities

  • Actively develop and demonstrate knowledge of technological features and how they are depicted, including Ford Pass, SYNC, Driver Assist and related systems, including their associated descriptions and depictions
  • Seek out andmaintain a holistic knowledge of by cultivating relationships with client and engineering teams. Apply this knowledge to ensure communications are complaint and accurate
  • Clearly and effectively communicate all relevant assets and information needed by the agency with specificity and timeliness. Understand how to deliver direction within the confines of projects and agency goals
  • Help maintain a culture of solution providers within the group, integrate with various agency teams to ensure work is created, reviewed, and accurately commented on within established timelines
  • Investigate, retain, and apply robust knowledge of technologies for client and agency use. Ensure all communications associated with technologies are reviewed and commented upon accurately and within deadlines
  • Provide grids, guidelines, and updates of current technologies including Ford Pass, Lincoln Way, SYNC systems, associated apps, their depictions and competitive advantages
  • Actively engage to ensure required assets are requested from Ford and ingested into the agency for proper retrieval, including those retouched and/or remade within the agency from related source assets
  • Active preparation and participation in product-related client deliverables, including Owner Site, Enterprise Site, Tier I and Tier II campaigns, depictions and comparisons
  • Support Driver Assist and Safety technology development and substantiation
  • Attend client routable and associated meetings as needed
  • Attend shoots or other production activities as needed to ensure accuracy in product technology depictions
  • Understanding of Specialist role in partnership with OGC/Legal Compliance teams to ensure communications are compliant and properly substantiated
  • Help agency team members and the client understand product information and its relationship within effective advertising
  • Develop knowledge of departmental best practices, including updating claims and affidavits, client interaction, product reviews, and insight regarding the entire automotive industry
  • Act as the go-to person for questions, concerns, problems, and general inquiries for assigned technologies
  • Accumulate knowledge of the automotive industry and the advertising industry

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience

  • Results-oriented with a creative approach to issue resolution and the ability to provide alternative solutions
  • Proficient at self-prioritization and executing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated success in handling client sensitive, detail-oriented tasks
  • Familiarity with photography, retouching, and image reproduction is advantageous
  • High level of proficiency in computer usage on both Mac and PC platforms

A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week.
