Job Description

I’m working with a rapidly growing U.S. manufacturer in the powersports / off-road vehicle aftermarket space that designs and builds performance upgrades and accessories used by enthusiasts across North America.

This is not a maintenance product role.

This is a true ownership position where you’ll drive strategy, identify market opportunities, and bring new products to life — from concept through launch — in a passionate, enthusiast-driven industry.

If you enjoy combining business thinking with technical products, and like seeing your ideas physically built and sold, this is the kind of role people stay in for a long time.

Why this opportunity stands out

  • You directly influence what products the company builds next
  • Products go from idea → prototype → market quickly (not years)
  • Highly visible role across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership
  • Enthusiast customer base that actually cares about the product
  • Stable, profitable company with strong growth trajectory
  • No bureaucracy — decisions get made

What you’ll do

You will own a portfolio of products and be responsible for their success.

That means you will:

• Analyze the market and identify new product opportunities

• Build product roadmaps and launch plans

• Work directly with engineering to develop new products

• Partner with sales & marketing on positioning and pricing

• Track product performance, margins, and lifecycle decisions

• Gather feedback from customers, dealers, and internal teams

• Recommend improvements, expansions, or phase-outs

You act as the business owner of the product line inside the company.

What they’re looking for

You don’t need to come from powersports — but you do need to understand physical products and customers.

Strong fits often come from:

  • Product management (manufacturing or durable goods)
  • Category management
  • Mechanical / automotive / aftermarket products
  • Industrial distribution
  • Consumer hardware products

Core skills

• Product strategy & roadmap ownership

• Cross-functional leadership

• Market analysis & competitive positioning

• Comfort working with engineers

• Data-driven decision making

• Ability to balance technical and commercial thinking

Location

On-site role in the Midwest (relocation available)

Why someone leaves their current job for this

You’ll move from managing projects…

to deciding what the company builds.

If you want ownership, visibility, and the ability to actually influence revenue — this is that type of role.
